Tuesday,
02.10.2012, an agreement was signed by JICA, (the Japan International Cooperation Agency), and the Ministry of Tourism in Tunisia, in
order to promote tourism in south Tunisia, especially the Sahara in the region
of Tozeur and Guebilli, to welcome more Japanese tourists.
JICA funded
the investment with 5.4 million dinars; a project starting from October 2012,
and running for 3 years.
The project
will be introduced at the African Development International Conference that
will be held in Tokyo, in 2013, as a representation of a North-South
Cooperation, "it will provide job opportunities and remove regional
disparity", (The General Director of JICA, at the signing
ceremony").
